Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Assembly Operator to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability Policies, reporting hazards or faults to your Team Leader or Production Manager, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Produce quality products in the required quantity, on time, at the lowest possible cost, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude towards training and personal development.
  • Monitor process performance to maximize output.
  • Carry out and document quality control checks for each job, completing all production paperwork.
  • Work as part of a team to meet departmental, company, and customer deadlines.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assembling a range of hoses to high-quality standards.
  • Checking components for correctness before assembly.
  • Following written instructions and manufacturing tolerances.
  • Using various machinery for assembly.
  • Adhering to company H&S directives.
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting quality system requirements to maintain company accreditation.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Accurate measurement and data recording skills, familiar with tape measures and verniers.
  • Basic understanding of the company's products.
  • Positive attitude towards managers and colleagues.
  • Team player mentality.
  • Mechanical engineering experience and knowledge of pressure and flow are advantageous.
  • Technical skills and respect for customer delivery expectations.
  • Ability to work in metric and imperial measurement systems.
