We’re seeking a Group IT Project Manager – Data Governance to lead the delivery of enterprise‑wide data governance and data risk initiatives. This role plays a key part in shaping and implementing the organisation’s Data Governance Strategy, Data Risk & Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy, ensuring projects are delivered to time, cost and quality while meeting regulatory and security standards. You’ll work closely with Group IT, business units and external partners to deliver high‑impact, compliant technology change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple data‑related projects from initiation through to completion
- Support the definition and implementation of enterprise data governance and data risk frameworks
- Engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Group IT and the wider business
- Manage cross‑functional delivery teams, including vendors and third‑party suppliers
- Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and issues
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security and regulatory requirements
- Maintain clear, consistent project communication and senior‑level reporting
- Coordinate change management and communication to support successful adoption
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and align to organisational goals
Your Experience
- Proven delivery of large‑scale, global data governance and/or data risk projects
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks and data loss prevention technologies
- Track record of successful project delivery against time, cost and scope
- Experience working in complex, matrix‑managed environments
- Strong stakeholder management at senior and executive level
- Hands‑on use of PPM tools for planning, tracking and reporting
