I am working with a leading technology company in the Northeast who are on the lookout for an experienced Infrastructure Engineering Manager to join the global Engineering division. The successful applicant will have overall responsibility and accountability for the system administration team and infrastructure operations.
They will also act as the technical point of escalation within the team, and create work plans and optimization initiatives. This role will work closely with Heads of Development and Development teams globally.
The role requires someone with a deep understanding of wireless technologies including Wi-Fi and cellular networks (LTE, HSPA+, WCDMA, GSM), Linux platforms, and infrastructure management.
This role requires an individual with 2+ years of experience, who is flexible and able to travel to work on projects worldwide when needed. The individual should also possess knowledge of server and storage infrastructure products, virtualization technologies, cloud services and networking principles.
