Role: Service Support Assistant
Contract Length: 3 months currently – may be extended further
Location: Oldbury
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £12.88 – £13.50 per hour depending on experience
Spinwell is recruiting for a Service Support Assistant for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SERVICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of information.
- Updating the Early Help System.
- Supporting the new YJS Prevention Officers in setting up new systems and processes.
- Prioritising incoming post and messages and alerting officers & practitioners to matters which require attention.
- Maintaining files and record systems including scanning and uploading of documents.
- Ensuring that tasks allocated are completed accurately and within allocated timescale.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SERVICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT
- Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a business admin role.
- Will hold NVQ Level 1 in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
- Experience of finance and procurement would be an advantage.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail.
- Have the ability to plan & organise diaries.
- A standard DBS check will be required for this role.
