Overview
Role: Service and Reporting Manager
Contract Length: 3 months
Location: Hybrid/London - Two days per week in-office, with Tuesday mandatory.
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £45.74 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide portfolio oversight and use Asana portfolio views to monitor strategic alignment and ensure projects are delivering on organisational objectives and feed this insight into corporate reporting, working with colleagues across the client.
- Establish and maintain close working relationships within the client and wider external stakeholders to ensure appropriate engagement is in place and teams are making use of the tool in the best possible way.
- Produce a range of reports, summaries and analyses to meet the needs of senior leaders, politicians, committees and boards.
- Define and maintain the client’s project and portfolio management standards. Ensure Asana configurations (e.g. custom fields, workflows, templates) and Power BI interfaces align with client’s governance frameworks.
- Ensure strong data quality, consistency and standards for corporate project and programme management.
- Provide day-to-day user support (e.g. login issues, permissions, task setup) and triage issues to the Asana support team or client IT as necessary.
- Leverage additional features within the system as part of phase 2 of the client’s implementation of the Asana tool.
- Oversee user acceptance testing of new features and defect fixes and evaluate requests for new features against strategic fit and portfolio management framework consistency.
- Lead the transition of newly delivered features from deployment to Business as Usual use.
- Lead the onboarding, induction and training of new users through coordinating and chairing a new network of local Asana leads or champions across the client.
- Oversee maintenance of the Asana ‘in box’, ensuring all queries are answered.
- Realise the benefits of a flexible approach to work in undertaking the duties and responsibilities of this job, and participating in multi-disciplinary, cross-department and cross-organisational groups and project teams.

Qualifications / Skills
- Demonstrable experience of programme and project management methodologies, tools and systems.
- Experience of managing complex stakeholders, with conflicting requirements and advanced negotiating skills.
- Experience of delivering projects using Agile methodology and working in an iterative way.
- Experience of supporting teams in defining clear, measurable goals, and using tools or systems to track progress against those goals.
- Experience of analysing data and using insights to improve story-telling and transparency of reporting.
- Technical expertise in Asana (especially admin console and configuration).
- Project management experience, ideally with Agile methodology.
- Ability to manage change adoption and training.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Familiarity with Power BI for reporting (highly desirable).
- Understanding of AI workflow automation (nice-to-have).
- Experience in public sector environments (preferred).
