Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Content Designer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR CONTENT DESIGNER
- Support the Content Design team, overseeing workload and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple programmes in the Government Cyber Unit
- Help manage content design requests, prioritisation and workflow, balancing demand and responding to user needs and organisational priorities
- Maintain and contribute to content standards, processes and ways of working to ensure consistency across outputs
- Lead on complex content work, shaping content structure and end-to-end user journeys across channels
- Work with stakeholders to advocate for user-centred design and ensure content is clear, accessible and meets user needs
- Review content and provide feedback to support the development of others and improve the quality of outputs across the team
- Work with Partnering, Communications and other teams in Government Security and DSIT to align content with engagement insight, messaging and organisational priorities
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR CONTENT DESIGNER
- Design, deliver, iterate and review content and end-to-end journeys across channels, using insights and applying GOV.UK and accessibility standards to meet user needs
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders to understand their goals and work with them to improve user journeys and content quality
- Work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, prioritising content design tasks, adapting to changing priorities and delivering iteratively
- Apply and contribute to content standards, patterns and style guides to ensure consistency and quality
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve quality and support others to deliver good work
- Working on complex or technical subject areas such as cyber security, digital services or policy
