Location: Salisbury - 48 hour week, 4 x 12 hour shifts. Shift times: 6:00am–6:00pm and 6:00pm–6:00am. Shifts include days and nights, as well as weekends and bank holidays.

Spinwell is recruiting for an Incinerator Shift Operator for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INCINERATOR SHIFT OPERATOR
- Handle, move and process clinical / chemical and hazardous waste.
- Undertake routine Incinerator site (non-intrusive) maintenance tasks.
- Undertake mandatory and role specific training including: Working at Height, Confined Space, First Aid at Work.
- Use forklift trucks and lifting equipment.
- Work to relevant safety and site procedures.
- Work to relevant quality standards.
- Work shifts including night and weekends.
- Complete waste documentation.
- Use facility vehicles to escort visitors, attend training and undertake on/off site deliveries.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE INCINERATOR SHIFT OPERATOR
- Evidence of good standard of general education e.g. GCSEs or equivalent including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above.
- Driving licence category B and own transport.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to use MS Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
