Spinwell is recruiting for a Safeguarding Coordinator for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

Responsibilities of the Safeguarding Coordinator

You’ll conduct risk assessments to ensure that all reports and referrals concerning adults and children at risk are efficiently and effectively reviewed, processed and shared with partner agencies and internal stakeholders.

You’ll research and interrogate police systems and compile reports.

You will also attend partnership multi‑agency and disclosure meetings and carry out any other actions relevant to safeguarding and reducing risk.

Skills/Experience of the Safeguarding Coordinator

  • Educated to A-Level standard in English Language or equivalent or have work experience requiring the use of English Language to this standard.
  • Experience working within a confidential environment.
  • Able to compile data into report format accurately and concisely by researching IT systems and other means.
  • Good analytical and investigative skills.
  • Able to use initiative, particularly in problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, including excellent listening skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, planning and organising own workload in a busy pressurised environment to meet deadlines.
  • Able to effectively and calmly manage conflict.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
