Spinwell is recruiting for an MBS Functional Analyst for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MBS FUNCTIONAL ANALYST- Support delivery of projects and change requests across multiple business systems.
- Collaborate with product leads and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in solution design and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide user support and training where required.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Assist in evaluating third-party solutions and integration options.
- Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and processes.
- Previous experience within a functional / subject matter expert (SME) role.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitating workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
- An appreciation and understanding of business processes across HR, Finance, Supply Chain or related areas, with the capability to map and optimise workflows.
- Experience of working with enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, ERP Cloud platforms).
- A familiarity with integration concepts and methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting, including producing BRDs, process maps and user guides.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and experience supporting UAT or system validation.
- Awareness of data governance, compliance and security standards.
- Confidence in using digital tools and technologies, such as automation, low-code platforms and workflow solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams and technical specialists.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
