Role: Product Manager

Contract Length: 8 months

Location: Hybrid/London, Bristol or Manchester - will be required to attend their base office 40%

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £550 - £600 per day

Security Clearance: Active or lapsed SC requested

Spinwell is recruiting for a Product Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRODUCT MANAGER

  • Make sure the GovAssure service fits in with the Cyber Directorate and wider Government Digital Service’s priorities
  • Make sure GovAssure meets user needs
  • Make sure GovAssure is accessible to its intended users and meets the required GDS standards
  • Comment on technical, content and design solutions for WebCAF, the platform used to deliver parts of the GovAssure service
  • Prioritise user stories for each work sprint
  • Accept user stories when complete
  • Support the GovAssure team to formalise the service wrap for GovAssure
  • Comment on GovAssure content for security.gov.uk and manage the publication process

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PRODUCT MANAGER

The successful candidate will need to operate at pace, set high standards for the work they commission and have a keen eye for detail to ensure that all issues are dealt with appropriately. They will need to be organised, a self-starter and able to design processes that are simple but effective, and able to maintain and improve these processes in a fast paced environment.
