Spinwell is recruiting for a Fleet Services Supply Chain Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FLEET SERVICES SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
- Lead on procurement and contract management activities for Fleet Services
- Support the Head of Fleet in strategic and operational delivery
- Manage and allocate contracts across the team
- Monitor and reprocure contracts as needed
- Analyse financial data, spend, and performance metrics
- Draft specifications and procurement documentation (note: tendering will be handled by a separate team)
- Implement new contracts and ensure smooth transitions
- Provide training and support to peers and direct reports
- Drive continuous improvement and proactive contract management
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE FLEET SERVICES SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
- Strong experience in procurement and contract management, ideally end-to-end
- Experience managing public sector contracts, i.e. indirect and fleet-related services
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills - able to interpret financial and performance data
- Good written skills - able to draft clear and effective specifications
- Experience in learning and development of team members
- Proactive, uses own initiative, and able to work independently
