Responsibilities
- Completing high-quality psychological advice for Education, Health, and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNA) within statutory time frames.
- Providing expert consultation to schools, settings, and parents using a range of psychological frameworks.
- Supporting school staff through training, supervision, and project work to build capacity for inclusive practice.
- Working directly with children and young people (0–25) to promote emotional well-being and educational progress.
Qualifications and Skills
- Professional Qualification: A Doctorate or Master's degree in Educational Psychology.
- HCPC Registration: You must be registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Communication Skills: The ability to translate complex psychological concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-specialists.
- Passion for Equity: A deep-seated commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners and those with SEND.
