Spinwell is recruiting for a Safeguarding Coordinator for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SAFEGUARDING COORDINATOR

  • You’ll conduct risk assessments to ensure that all reports and referrals concerning adults and children at risk are efficiently and effectively reviewed, processed and shared with partner agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • You’ll research and interrogate police systems and compile reports.
  • You will also attend partnership multi-agency and disclosure meetings and carry out any other actions relevant to safeguarding and reducing risk.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SAFEGUARDING COORDINATOR

  • Educated to A-Level standard in English Language or equivalent or have work experience requiring the use of English Language to this standard.
  • Experience working within a confidential environment.
  • Able to compile data into report format accurately and concisely by researching IT systems and other means.
  • Good analytical and investigative skills.
  • Able to use initiative, particularly in problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, including excellent listening skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, planning and organising own workload in a busy pressurised environment to meet deadlines.
  • Able to effectively and calmly manage conflict.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
