Spinwell is recruiting for a HR Business Partner for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HR BUSINESS PARTNER
- To work in partnership with Community Unit and Service Leads to provide professional customer-focused HR advice and People focused solutions that support the business.
- To promote, embed and become an exemplar subject matter expert on all HR / people management matters, including acting as a conduit to other Workforce functions.
- In conjunction with the Recruitment and Retention Business Partner Lead on recruitment and retention strategies and plans within your services, to create and deliver actions to address recruitment hotspots and high turnover areas, with the aim to ensure the services achieve their workforce plans.
- To work collaboratively with other workforce colleagues and the strategic Workforce Planning Lead, to support your services to have in place a realistic, proactive, measurable and achievable Workforce plans.
- To take action, advise and lead locally on all HR key activities including but not limited to; Employee Relations, Workforce Diversity and Inclusion, Staff Health and Wellbeing and Staff survey actions.
- To identify and manage workforce issues and major change programmes.
- To support the development, integration and implementation of corporate HR policy and practice.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE HR BUSINESS PARTNER
- CIPD qualified/post graduate diploma in HRM and/or equivalent experience to Masters level.
- Demonstrate additional training or equivalent experience to Masters level or equivalent.
- Experience of working as a Business Partner (or equivalent role/title).
- Line management experience.
- Performance management experience.
- Experience of writing consultation papers and reports.
