Role: Falcon Data Migration Engineer

Contract Length: Up to 12 months

Location: Hybrid/London, Bristol or Manchester - once a week in office (Will be some evening and weekend work)

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FALCON DATA MIGRATION ENGINEER

  • End-to-end execution of migration jobs from preparation through staging, batching, execution, and validation
  • Support management teams to plan and coordinate migration
  • Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, errors, and throughput bottlenecks in real-time to preserve data integrity
  • Partner and coordinate closely with Google Workspace, M365, and ICs administrators to resolve dependencies and ensure seamless end-to-end migrations
  • Performance testing and functional testing of the migrations tools
  • Keep good records of migration activities
  • Run quality processes so that migration completeness can be assessed
  • Ensure accurate information is transferred
  • Develop scripts to support data remediation

  • A hands-on Data Migration Engineer who takes ownership of end-to-end job execution while maintaining oversight of the broader operational picture

  • Significant hands-on experience setting up, running, debugging, and coordinating large-scale data migration jobs across Google Workspace and M365 environments
