Location: Hybrid/Warrington, Cheshire - must be able to attend the office 2 days per week

Spinwell is recruiting for a Cyber Transformation Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CYBER TRANSFORMATION LEAD
- Act as an internal cyber advisor aligned with client strategy and organisational objectives.
- Lead/coordinate the resolution of complex/high profile cyber issues and facilitate stakeholder engagement.
- Develop, refresh, and embed cyber policies, standards, and procedures; track adoption/compliance.
- Provide portfolio oversight and RAG reporting; elevate and drive remediation of misalignments.
- Conduct horizon scanning and brief leadership on implications and recommendations.
- Plan and deliver awareness, education, and role based training initiatives with metrics.
- Support the establishment of cyber profession standards with HR/L&D.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CYBER TRANSFORMATION LEAD
- Broad and diverse cybersecurity experience across multiple functions and roles, with the ability to bring a well-rounded perspective to complex security challenges.
- Demonstrated experience working across a range of cybersecurity disciplines, rather than within a single specialist area.
- Proven involvement in cyber transformation programmes, including supporting and delivering strategic security change across an organisation.
- Ideally, experience leading end-to-end cyber transformation initiatives, driving improvements in security capability, governance, and operating models.
- Experience gained within either public or private sector organisations, with the ability to adapt to different regulatory, operational, and stakeholder environments.
- Exposure to industrial or operational environments (e.g. manufacturing, energy, utilities, infrastructure) is desirable, though not essential.
