Role: Employee Relations Manager REF 105627

Contract Length: 12 months

Location: Hybrid/West Burton – 3 days per week on site

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £350-£450 per day

Security Clearance: BPSS

Spinwell is recruiting for an Employee Relations Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER

  • Manage learning and talent development projects to deliver to time and quality
  • Support managers to understand and articulate the learning needs of their employees
  • Facilitate learning events and workshops to meet business needs and priorities
  • Deliver training in both a formal and informal setting, producing relevant course materials and documents
  • Share best practice and resources in training and learning and assessments
  • Communicate with impact and able to influence and consult with key stakeholders, building confidence at all levels
  • Interpret data to create and present evidence based insight
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and provide recommendations
  • Work with colleagues to use data effectively to understand and highlight risks to customers, and add value to the organisation.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience) with significant employee relations experience within a complex organisation.
  • Proven experience managing high-risk and complex employee relations cases, supported by a strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience working with trade unions
  • Experience coaching, influencing and advising senior leaders and managers on employee relations and workplace culture matters.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Experience supporting organisational growth, transformation, change programmes or workforce restructuring initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate people data and insights into practical solutions.
