Spinwell is recruiting for an Employee Relations Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER
- Manage learning and talent development projects to deliver to time and quality
- Support managers to understand and articulate the learning needs of their employees
- Facilitate learning events and workshops to meet business needs and priorities
- Deliver training in both a formal and informal setting, producing relevant course materials and documents
- Share best practice and resources in training and learning and assessments
- Communicate with impact and able to influence and consult with key stakeholders, building confidence at all levels
- Interpret data to create and present evidence based insight
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and provide recommendations
- Work with colleagues to use data effectively to understand and highlight risks to customers, and add value to the organisation.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER
- CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience) with significant employee relations experience within a complex organisation.
- Proven experience managing high-risk and complex employee relations cases, supported by a strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience working with trade unions
- Experience coaching, influencing and advising senior leaders and managers on employee relations and workplace culture matters.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence at all levels.
- Experience supporting organisational growth, transformation, change programmes or workforce restructuring initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate people data and insights into practical solutions.
