Spinwell is recruiting for a Developer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DEVELOPER
An experienced developer with solid commercial AWS development experience is required to accelerate client’s move from legacy on-prem registers to new cloud-native solutions. The main focus of the work will be the collaborative development of new serverless micro-services using AWS Lambda functions and TypeScript/JavaScript.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE DEVELOPER
- Significant commercial experience with the following technology:
- AWS including:
- CDK
- Serverless (Lambda)
- S3
- API Gateway
- Cloud Formation
- Making excellent quality software with other people.
- Working with business stakeholders, to understand the context, and to focus on delivering value.
- Design and implementation of solutions using a service-based and serverless architecture.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in the Agile delivery models - such as Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks.
- Developing within GDS or Digital First (or similar) quality standards.
- Cloud monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes.
- Formal XP engineering techniques, including Pair Programming and Test Driven Development.
- Defining infrastructure-as-code.
