Spinwell is recruiting for a Service Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SERVICE MANAGER
- Lead the development and delivery of strategic and operational commissioning, procurement and contracting across all areas of the Children’s Services Directorate to deliver the best possible outcomes for children, young people and families within the available resources.
- Utilise commissioning, procurement and contracting systems to increase the efficiency and cost effectiveness of commissioned services by identifying ways to achieve better outcomes at lower cost through reducing duplication, developing new models and market innovation.
- Ensure effective joint commissioning approaches are in place across Council Directorates and with partner agencies, promoting joint accountability for improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
- Lead and direct ongoing programmes of activity to achieve SEND and Social Care sufficiency objectives with a focus on effective market management and co-production.
