Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Hybrid/Darlington – 3 days in the office

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate to Intermediary: Up to £550 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for an Assistant Workplace Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT WORKPLACE MANAGER

  • Support senior management team by monitoring supplier performance using the client digital reporting tools as appropriate.
  • Be responsible for capturing and resolving customer issues and complaints from client organisations or those arising from the helpdesk.
  • Effectively support the management of supply-chain partners to ensure service delivery standards and performance are in line with expected standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from other key areas within WSD.
  • Track progress and escalate new and emerging operational risks to senior management team/s.
  • Support senior management team fulfil their contract management responsibilities.
  • Review and update contractual service details for each property.
  • Monitor and update contractual change control (CCR) registers.
  • Assist with audit preparation and tracking progress against agreed actions.
  • Support the financial approvals across own and wider region.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE ASSISTANT WORKPLACE MANAGER

  • An experienced property and/or workplace service management professional.
  • An experienced supplier management background covering all aspects of facilities management.
  • Analytical mind-set with the ability to assimilate a wide range of data sources.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills.
  • An ability to perform under pressure and to self-prioritise.
