Spinwell is recruiting for a Firearms Enquiry Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FIREARMS ENQUIRY OFFICER

  • To undertake enquiries to support the effective control of firearms and ammunition to ensure public safety and full compliance with legislation, Home Office directives and Alliance policy.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE FIREARMS ENQUIRY OFFICER

  • Significant investigative experience over a sustained period.
  • Experience of using IT, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of firearms legislation and current working practices.
  • Proven experience of decision making utilising a recognised decision making model.
