- Role: Assistant Commercial Manager
- Contract Length: 3 months initially with a possibility of an extension
- Location: Hybrid/Croydon β 2-3 days per week on site (Mondays and Wednesdays)

- Pay Rate to Intermediary: Up to Β£361.17 per day
Spinwell is recruiting for an Assistant Commercial Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional compliant procurement service for allocated user stakeholders within the client to achieve value for money and high stakeholder satisfaction
- Maintain accurate auditable records of procurement process compliance
- Assist reviews/negotiations of contracts during their term to ensure continued fitness for purpose with respect to scope, budget and performance change, and be responsible for change requests
- Plan and engage with users to understand contract specifications
- Conduct procurement process in a collaborative manner (advice, tendering, evaluation award & contract management) efficiently using preferred technology-based methods
Skills / Experience
- Qualified (or part qualified) to CIPS / RICS professional standard or equivalent
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of the procurement act 2023 and proven experience in applying these to day-to-day procurement activities and documentation
- Computer literate and experienced in use of standard spreadsheet and WP software packages
- Ability to communicate effectively through presentations and written reports at all levels
- Proven resource management and skills to be able to prioritise work in a highly pressurised environment
- Experience in pre and post contract management
- Experience in preparing and reviewing procurement documentation and commercial schedules
- Experience in using procurement e-tendering portals (desirable)
- Experience in using SAP Ariba (desirable)
