Spinwell is recruiting for a Payroll & Finance Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLL & FINANCE OFFICER
- Payroll balancing and reconciliations
- Identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies
- Processing and validating payroll data
- Supporting BACS payments and payroll transactions
- Payroll compliance activities including statutory deductions
- Supporting payroll audits and year-end processes
- Maintaining accurate payroll and financial records
- Assisting with budgetary, reporting and financial control activities
- Providing support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PAYROLL & FINANCE OFFICER
- Previous payroll processing experience
- Payroll reconciliation and balancing experience
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience using payroll and finance systems
- Ability to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Experience working independently and as part of a team
