RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT MANAGER
- Lead and manage project delivery from initiation through to completion
- Oversee day-to-day project planning, controls, and governance
- Coordinate development of the Business Case
- Manage budgets, resources, risks, and issues
- Track, report, and assure project performance against milestones
- Identify, measure, and manage benefits realisation
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies
- Ensure effective change control and decision-making processes
- Promote continuous improvement and personal development
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PROJECT MANAGER
- Knowledge of project management practices, tools, and techniques
- Experience in planning, scheduling, risk and issue management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyse data and provide high-quality management information
- Strong organisation, prioritisation, and decision-making capability
- Professional credibility to work collaboratively across teams and functions
- Essential: Entry-level Project Delivery qualification, e.g. APM Project Fundamentals Qualification, or Foundation-level qualification (e.g. MSP Foundation)
