Location: Hybrid/Bristol – 2-3 days per week on site

Spinwell is recruiting for a Lead Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the generation and execution of the engineering management plan (OME aspects) for the delivery of Urgent One Way Effector capability requirements.
- Form Technical Requirements and manage the Test, V&V and evaluation process.
- Establish engineering roadmap for future phases and Engineering Management Plans.
- Assure technical data as provided by Supplier(s), provide advice to Ch Eg/ Chief Technical Officer/ Senior Safety Responsible on matters they are accountable.
- Integrate and manage project interests with a wide range of stakeholders, such as Air worthiness authorities & Heads of Establishments.
- Provide assurance that Supplier tests are safe and IAW with local process, and aviation regulations.
- Identify and analyse technical hazards, contribute to the development of safety artefacts as required to enable testing.
Skills / Experience
- Engineering manager with experience managing development and integration of novel systems.
- Experience of complex weapons development and testing programmes.
- Familiarity with DOSR and/or MAA regulations and experience working with regulators.
- Management of development and integration of novel systems.
