Role: Accounting Technician (ASC Payments & Billing) x 2

Contract Length: 1 x 9 months and 1 x 12 months

Location: Hybrid/Solihull - Onsite presence required during training

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £18.67 per hour

Spinwell is recruiting for an Accounting Technician for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

  • Processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Working with the Controcc system - training provided if required
  • Liaising with care providers to resolve payment and billing queries
  • Handling queries from social workers regarding payments
  • Managing payments to providers delivering social care services
  • Raising invoices and supporting the billing function
  • Initially focusing on payments, with billing responsibilities increasing once confident

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

  • Basic Finance knowledge or experience including Finance Admin and Accounts Payable.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills for dealing with internal teams and external providers
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Open to graduates or post-graduates
  • Experience within a finance team or accounts payable is desirable but not essential
  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent - Grades A-C or 4-9, including Maths and English
