Spinwell is recruiting for an Accounts Technician for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS TECHNICIAN
Support the Management Accountants in ensuring the effective operations of the Accounts Department. Making sure standard processes are followed and playing a crucial role in the month end close performing a number of quality and time critical tasks.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCES OF THE ACCOUNTS TECHNICIAN
- Experience of working in an Accounts or Finance team with good numerical skills.
- Maths and English GCSEs grade 9-4/A*-C or equivalent qualifications / relevant experience.
- Good IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience using finance systems (e.g. Aptos) to extract, manipulate, and interpret financial data.
- Good communication skills and display confidence in dealing with colleagues both within Finance and the wider business.
- Ability to follow and understand key Finance processes, policies and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and reliable data. Able to take ownership of outputs and work independently or as part of a team.
- Display a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
