Spinwell is recruiting for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HEAD OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS
Lead and enhance the Constabulary's financial planning and analysis capabilities, ensuring robust financial governance and supporting strategic, operational, and tactical decision-making.
Act as the organisation's Head of Financial Planning & Analysis driving financial sustainability and value for money across the policing estate, deputising for the Chief Finance Officer when required.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE HEAD OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS
- CCAB-qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles within complex organisations.
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, including building complex models and Board-level reporting.
- Strong experience in business partnering and influencing senior stakeholders as well as preparation of financial elements of business cases.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
- Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
