Backend Engineer (Mandarin-Speaking)

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Go as the core backend language.

• Develop and optimize system components for high concurrency and low latency.

• Write clean, well-structured code following SOLID principles and design patterns.

• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and stability.

• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams across time zones.

• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement processes.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficient in Golang.

• Basic understanding of Lua (used in OpenResty scripts).

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka.

• Familiar with RESTful API design and development.

• Knowledge of Linux, Docker, and version control tools like Git.

• Comfortable working in both Mandarin and English environments.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points):

• Hands-on experience with OpenResty / Nginx.

• Knowledge of distributed system concepts (e.g. CAP, BASE, ACID).

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, or Tarantool.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
