Claims Manager (Professional Indemnity) in Slough

We are partnering with a leading insurer to hire a Claims Manager to handle high-value, complex professional indemnity claims for insurance intermediaries. You’ll manage litigated matters, advise Members, work closely with underwriters and external counsel, and contribute to risk management initiatives.

Our client is seeking a Claims Manager with extensive experience managing high-value, complex and litigated professional indemnity claims defending insurance intermediaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage complex Professional Indemnity claims
• Liaise with Members and external counsel
• Ensure efficient claim resolution
• Report on reserves and exposures
• Provide legal/technical advice and clear reports
• Support risk management and attend internal reviews

Requirements:

• Strong experience in high-value, complex Professional Indemnity Claims in relation to Brokers and other professionals.
• Background in insurance or legal practice
• LLB (or equivalent) and UK Legal qualification, ideally a minimum of 2 years PQE
• Excellent analysis, communication & negotiation skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
