We are partnering with a leading insurer to hire a Claims Manager to handle high-value, complex professional indemnity claims for insurance intermediaries. Youβll manage litigated matters, advise Members, work closely with underwriters and external counsel, and contribute to risk management initiatives.
Our client is seeking a Claims Manager with extensive experience managing high-value, complex and litigated professional indemnity claims defending insurance intermediaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage complex Professional Indemnity claims
- Liaise with Members and external counsel
- Ensure efficient claim resolution
- Report on reserves and exposures
- Provide legal/technical advice and clear reports
- Support risk management and attend internal reviews
Requirements:
- Strong experience in high-value, complex Professional Indemnity Claims in relation to Brokers and other professionals.
- Background in insurance or legal practice
- LLB (or equivalent) and UK Legal qualification, ideally a minimum of 2 years PQE
- Excellent analysis, communication & negotiation skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
