We are partnered with an international law firm who is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate in London....

The role is suited to an experienced England & Wales qualified solicitor with strong marine, shipping, insurance or logistics litigation experience, particularly across cargo recovery, transportation liability and cross-border disputes.

The successful candidate will manage complex and high-value marine recovery matters for insurers, carriers, freight forwarders and logistics providers regarding freight, demurrage and hire disputes, subrogated claims, litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.

They are seeking a shipping solicitor that has strong technical knowledge of marine recovery and transportation liability, excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills, the ability to run matters with autonomy, and confidence building relationships with clients and brokers.

The role also offers scope to support business development and mentor junior lawyers within a highly regarded international marine practice.

You'll be part of a team of solicitors who work collaboratively, liaising with other international offices and travelling abroad when required.
