An international shipping law firm is seeking a Senior Associate due to expansion. Remote working option is available from anywhere in the UK, as will be required to meet clients, attend industry events and arbitrations in London (sometimes at short notice). This role will suit a UK qualified solicitor with 5-8 PQE.
You’ll be part of the strategic growth plans of the London office to advise on a broad range of complex, high-value disputes, including:
- Focus on Dry Shipping disputes - charterparty, bill of lading, shipbuilding, MOA, bulk cargo and commodities sale contract claims
- Some wet shipping cases
- Commercial arbitration and High Court litigation
In this role you'll be advising shipping clients across the globe, including shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs, H&M insurers, and cargo traders. The firm offers autonomy to manage cases from inception to resolution with the freedom to work from the London office or remotely from the UK.
