An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a leading international law firm's highly regarded Transactional Shipping team.
This is a fantastic role for someone looking to build a career in commercial law, offering hands-on involvement in high-value international shipping and finance transactions.
You'll receive excellent training, work directly with clients across the globe, and gain experience far beyond a typical paralegal position.
The Role You'll support the Completion Services team on a broad range of international transactions, including: Drafting transaction and completion documents.
Assisting with KYC and due diligence.
Coordinating transaction completions and closing meetings.
Arranging payment releases.
Liaising with clients, banks and international registries.
Preparing transaction bibles and completion documents.
Supporting the wider Transactional Shipping team on a variety of matters.
About You You'll have: An LLB or GDL qualification.
A strong academic background (2:1 or above preferred).
Previous law firm experience (desirable).
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and confidence working with international clients.
The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, team-focused approach.
Strong IT skills.
Foreign language skills are a bonus but not essential.
Working
Flexibility is required as transaction completions may occasionally take place outside standard office hours.
