A leading international shipping organisation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join its tanker fleet team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded maritime professional to take ownership of a portfolio of 8-9 vessels, managing day-to-day marine and commercial operations within a high-performing fleet environment. You will work alongside three other Operations Managers covering the wider tanker fleet, with responsibility for ensuring safe, efficient and profitable vessel operations while delivering first-class service to internal and external stakeholders.
The Role
This is a broad and hands-on position combining both marine operations and commercial performance management. You will act as the key point of contact for your assigned vessels, liaising closely with Masters, charterers, agents, terminals and internal departments. The successful candidate will be empowered to run their vessels independently, making operational decisions that optimise voyage results, maintain compliance and minimise delays or off-hire time.

- Support Masters and onboard teams with voyage execution, navigation, cargo operations and tank cleaning requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, charter party obligations and international regulations.

- Promote a strong safety culture across the fleet.
