Manage both the London office and travel services for an international shipping company, where London serves as the centre of European operations. This is a five-day-a-week on-site position with a high level of responsibility and autonomy, allowing you to shape processes and make meaningful changes.

You will take full responsibility for the travel management function, overseeing internal policies, working with suppliers, and optimising the travel experience for employees who travel internationally. This isn’t just about booking flights and hotels – it’s about creating an effective and seamless travel system that supports the business and improves service delivery.

Alongside travel management, you will handle office procurement, compliance, and risk management, including overseeing various types of insurance and ensuring adherence to standards like ISO14001 and ESOS. You’ll have the opportunity to influence key areas and implement improvements to meet business needs.

You will also lead a team of four, providing guidance and support to ensure the office runs smoothly. Managing the overall office environment, you’ll build a strong relationship with the landlord, ensure service levels are met, and keep internal policies updated. Your leadership will ensure the team is motivated and delivers high-quality service to internal stakeholders.

This position offers significant autonomy – you’ll be trusted to make decisions, implement changes, and take ownership of your areas without being micromanaged. Reporting directly to senior management, you’ll have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, improve operational efficiency, and deliver results.

If you enjoy taking charge of operations, improving systems, and making a tangible impact, this role gives you the chance to do just that. It’s a unique opportunity to drive change, refine processes, and see the results of your efforts in a key office environment.
