Well respected ship owner is looking for an ambitious Legal Counsel as part of succession planning to assist in shipping legal matters such as letters of indemnity, charterparty clauses, S&P, disputes, sanctions and advising internal teams on shipping legal and insurance matters. FD&D is handled inhouse and will only go to litigation as a last resort.
Some travel may be required to attend other offices internationally or shipping conferences but will mostly be based at the London office and are open to hybrid working with 3 days in the office.
This role would suit a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 8 PQE. In return they are offering competitive salary, generous bonus, private medical and other benefits.
