Spinnaker is partnering with a leading international maritime organisation to appoint a Lead Enterprise Solution Architect as part of its ongoing technology transformation journey. This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of business and technology, responsible for shaping enterprise-wide solutions, influencing technology strategy, and ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across both business and technology functions, you will play a key role in designing scalable solutions, driving architectural governance, and supporting the evolution of a complex global technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Lead solution architecture activities across a portfolio of enterprise applications and business systems
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions
- Drive application rationalisation, simplification, and standardisation initiatives
- Provide architectural governance across projects, programmes, and technology investments
- Support software selection, vendor evaluation, and technology decision-making
- Ensure solutions align with long-term business objectives and architectural principles
- Collaborate with delivery, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure successful implementation
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology
- Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Applications Architecture, or a related discipline
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, cloud technologies, APIs, and modern technology landscapes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience contributing to digital transformation, technology modernisation, or enterprise change programmes
- Commercial awareness and the ability to connect technology decisions to business outcomes
Experience within maritime, logistics, transportation, energy, aviation, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries would be advantageous, though not essential.
