Join one of the world's largest logistics and shipping groups and play a key role in managing the finances of the Belgian operations. As Corporate Accountant, you'll ensure our books are closed on time, reporting is watertight, and compliance is flawless; all while working in a dynamic, international environment. You'll work in the office in London with a hybrid work arrangement. From leading month-end and year-end close, to maintaining the integrity of fixed asset register and managing cashflow, you'll be the go-to expert for both operational accuracy and strategic insight. You'll collaborate with teams across Europe, liaise with Belgian accountants and tax authorities, and ensure they stay ahead of every deadline, from VAT returns to statutory filings. What you'll focus onÂ
- Driving accurate and timely financial close and reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with Belgian GAAP, VAT and tax regulations.
- Managing end-to-end accounts payable, receivable, and cash management.
 What you bringÂ
- You're a qualified (or final-stage) CIMA / ACCA / ACA accountant with a strong grasp of IFRS, UK GAAP.
- You will also have knowledge of Belgian GAAP.
- You understand the Belgian Chart of Accounts (PCMN), VAT rules, and statutory requirements, and you're confident working across languages and cultures (French or Dutch preferred).
