Are you a shipping and commodities disputes solicitor who is looking for a role that offers quality work plus a good work-life balance? If so, we’re partnered with an IG P&I Club seeking a UK-qualified solicitor or Commonwealth lawyer to join the London team.

The role involves advising on a mix of dry shipping and commodities disputes for traders, shipowners and charterers in Europe. The disputes are varied and include LNG and agricultural products plus shipping disputes.

You’ll have autonomy to handle claims whilst having support from senior members of the team. This is a senior role that offers mentorship of a junior lawyer in the team. International travel is available to meet clients in Europe 2-3 times per year.

In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary, annual bonus, full benefits package, hybrid working, and generous pension contributions (up to 22%). This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a role that offers interesting work with lots of client interaction, without timesheets and hourly targets.
