Spinnaker is recruiting a Commercial Technology Lawyer on behalf of an established global technology business within a major international maritime services group. This is an opportunity for a mid-level solicitor with 3β5 years' post-qualification experience to join the group's in-house legal team. Shipping law experience is not required.
The Role
- Advise on a broad range of commercial legal matters, including:
- Incoming and outgoing software licensing agreements.
- Commercial contracts.
- Data protection and GDPR.
- AI policies and procedures.
- Compliance matters, including AML, sanctions and codes of conduct.
- Supporting M&A transactions.
- Joint venture structures for technology platforms.
About You
- You will be a qualified solicitor with 3β5 years' PQE and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Commercial technology.
- Software licensing.
- Commercial contracts.
- Data protection and privacy.
- Technology transactions.
