A leading international shipping company is looking to appoint a Senior Solicitor to join its London-based legal team. This is a standout opportunity to become part of a highly regarded global function, working on a diverse and complex range of dry shipping disputes and admiralty matters. You’ll advise on high-quality contentious work, including contractual disputes, force majeure issues, vessel damage claims, and sanctions-related matters.

The role offers excellent variety, covering both shipping and chartering disputes across a broad fleet, including bulk carriers, product tankers, and container vessels. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, gaining exposure to truly international matters.

We’re seeking a UK-qualified solicitor with 5–10 years’ PQE, gained within a law firm, shipping company, or P&I Club, who is looking to take the next step in a dynamic in-house environment. Based in a modern, centrally located London office, the company offers a flexible hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote), along with the chance to work in a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
