We are looking for a passionate and proactive member to join our Food team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social media and all things food. You will be a safe pair of hands for day-to-day account management and one of the go-to contacts for clients when it comes to all things management, organic social, content creation, and PR. You’ll play a key role in delivering best-in-class social campaigns and PR opportunities.

You’ll need to be highly organised, socially driven, creatively minded, and fully invested in your accounts, delivering tasks on time, supporting the wider team, and proactively spotting opportunities to elevate our work. Alongside Strong Roots, you will have the opportunity to work across other clients in our roster.

Our in-house expertise spans creative, social, PR, influencer marketing, video, search, advertising, paid media, website development, and live events. We exist to get brands talked about and drive sales; we call it the art of conversation and conversion. What The Role Will Involve:

  • Account & Client Management: Supporting the rest of the team and client in the day-to-day running of Strong Roots. Acting as a reliable point of contact for client queries and ad hoc requests. Assisting in campaign planning, content calendars, and reporting. Helping ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard. Financial billing and admin.
  • Social Media & Content: Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, with a desire to deepen your expertise. Writing engaging, platform-specific social copy. Creating and capturing content in-app (you may even star in some of it). Scheduling and publishing content via Sprout Social or native tools. Community management: responding to comments and messages in line with the brand tone of voice. Attending shoots and pop-ups to capture content in real time. Monitoring trends and identifying reactive opportunities.
  • PR: Draft press releases, briefing documents and other communications materials. Supporting the planning and execution of PR campaigns and activations. Supporting with negotiating and contracting of Influencers & UGC creators. Monitoring coverage and compiling campaign reports and evaluation documents.
  • Creative Development: Contributing to brainstorms and campaign ideation. Briefing designers and video editors to develop engaging creative assets. Ensuring content is tailored for each platform and audience. Keeping a close eye on competitors and industry trends.
  • Performance & Optimisation: Using Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, and other tools to track performance. Assisting with reporting and extracting actionable insights. Working alongside the paid media team to supply organic assets for boosting and campaigns. Demonstrating curiosity about data and how it informs content strategy.

Other Skills & Qualifications:

  • Likely a recent graduate or someone with around one year of experience in a social media or marketing role.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will report to the Account Director.
