Overview

HPC Infrastructure Engineer – Cambridge (Hybrid, 2-3 days p/w) – £350/day Outside IR35

Spinks have an urgent requirement for an experienced HPC Infrastructure Engineer to join a client for a 6 month engagement. You\’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, tackling a variety of projects while taking a consultative approach to exciting new challenges.

Key requirements

  • Strong understanding of large-scale computing environments, such as HPC, HTC or BC.
  • Hands-on experience working in a DevOps team.
  • Experience of administration of large-scale cluster and server computing and related software.
  • Understanding of scripting and tool development for HPC & DevOps style platform operations using bash and Python

The role

  • 6 Month contract
  • Cambridge – Hybrid, 2-3 days p/w

Qualifications / Experience

  • Strong understanding of large-scale computing environments (HPC/HTC/BC)
  • DevOps team collaboration experience
  • Experience administering large-scale cluster and server computing systems
