Spink, the international auction house dealing with collectables such as Stamps, Coins, Banknotes, Medals, Bonds and Shares and Numismatic Books, are looking for a finance assistant.
Aim of role: To own the end-to-end accounts receivable and credit control function, ensuring that all customer billing, receipts, allocations and collections are accurate, timely and well controlled, while actively managing customer credit risk and supporting strong cash flow for the business. The role is critical in maintaining the integrity of debtor balances across both the auction system (RFC) and the finance system (SUN), and in supporting the auction settlement cycle and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Post and maintain customer invoices and related charges in SUN, based on auction results and operational data.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer balances.
- Allocate all customer receipts promptly and resolve unallocated cash.
- Maintain and control customer master data.
- Support AR close activities at month-end.
