We are looking for a motivated Associate Client Success Manager (CSM) to join our London office. This is an entry-level role and a great way to kick-start a career in Client Success — no prior CS or maritime experience is required. You’ll work closely with our more senior CSMs and the Head of Client Success, learning the ropes while owning real client relationships from day one.
Responsibilities
- Own client relationships: you will be the link between Spinergie and your portfolio clients, managing and maintaining relationships at scale.
- Analyse client objectives: Lead kick-off and onboarding sessions with application owners to align on goals, success metrics, and key use cases. Support the rollout of tailored (and templated) training programmes to help clients achieve their desired outcomes.
- Drive client engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for users across your portfolio, delivering trainings and resolving inquiries with support from analysts and more senior CSMs. Maintain regular check-ins with application owners to maximise system adoption, track value delivery, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
- Support revenue retention and renewals: Help manage the renewal process for your portfolio, ensuring churn rates meet and exceed company targets, with guidance from senior CSMs on more complex accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities: work closely with the Sales team to flag upsell and expansion opportunities within your book of business.
- Cross-team collaboration: share client insights and feedback with Sales, Product, Tech, and Marketing teams to help steer acquisition and engagement efforts.
- Technical support: act as a first point of contact for technical questions and issues raised by clients, troubleshooting where possible and looping in Tech/Product teams when needed.
- Learn and grow: follow and contribute to CS processes, work closely with senior CSMs and the Head of Client Success to build your CS skillset, with a view to growing into a broader portfolio and more strategic accounts over time.
Qualifications
- This is an entry-level position (0 to 2 years of experience) — we’re not expecting prior Client Success or maritime industry experience.
- Any exposure to a client-facing role (internship, placement, customer support, retail, or similar) is a plus, but not required.
- Prior exposure to the Maritime, offshore, or energy industry, SaaS, or both is a plus, but not required.
- Rigorous, structured and with a strong sense of prioritization — important given the volume of accounts you’ll manage.
- A reliable and accountable personality.
- Strong willingness to learn about the offshore and maritime industry.
- Interest in technical topics, comfortable troubleshooting and learning new tools.
- Data savvy, comfortable working with data and spotting trends.
- Listening skills to frame client needs, developing business acumen and a growth mindset.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good team spirit.
- Based in, or willing to work from, our London office at Waterhouse Square.
- This role requires regular travel to meet clients and attend industry events across Europe and the Middle East. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent trips and flexible in adapting their schedule to business needs.
- Ability to work in the UK.
No candidate perfectly meets all the requirements. We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and identities.
