We are hiring a Group Commercial Director to lead new business growth across Spin Group. Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, this role will sit at the centre of the group’s commercial engine - managing inbound opportunities, driving proactive outreach, and leading the early stages of the pitch process. The role requires someone who understands modern marketing, social culture, and brand storytelling, but who also has the commercial instincts to turn conversations into profitable partnerships.
Time and focus across the three agencies will be dynamic, based on where the greatest commercial opportunity sits. This includes managing inbound opportunities, building a proactive pipeline through outreach and networking, and leading the early commercial conversations that turn interest into pitch opportunities. While the primary focus is acquisition, the role will also support the Client Partner and Creative Director to ensure new work is scoped effectively and positioned for long-term success.

Manage and qualify inbound leads while building a proactive pipeline of opportunities with global and enterprise brands.
Strategic Outreach
Develop relationships with senior marketing leaders across target brands through events, networking, introductions and strategic outreach. Act as a commercial gatekeeper, ensuring the group focuses its time on opportunities that align with our capabilities, ambitions and pricing. Lead the early stages of the pitch process - shaping the commercial narrative and positioning Spin Group’s capabilities in a compelling way.

Requirements:
- 8+ years in business development, commercial partnerships or growth roles within creative, social, media or production agencies.
- Blue-Chip Brand Exposure
- Experience working with large global brands, enterprise organisations, or major media companies.
- You understand social media, creator culture and how brands operate in modern digital ecosystems.
- Comfortable translating social strategy, creative ideas and production capabilities into clear commercial value.
- Strong at managing pipelines, tracking opportunities and maintaining commercial discipline.

Salary Bracket: 70K - 80K DOE + performance incentives
