The Role
We’re looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Creator and Influencer Director with deep knowledge and strong perspectives on the industry to lead our Creator division at Spin. As a growing department in the agency, we are looking for someone who will drive forward its growth through new business and existing client growth, as well as overseeing all current activity. A part of this will be developing our unique agency creator and influencer proposition, improving our services and supercharging the overall output of the work. You’ll be strategic, creative and operational in equal measure and able to think big picture but also direct activity day-to-day.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Leading on Spin’s creator and influencer offering - shaping the service and driving innovation.
- Ultimately responsible for excellent creator and influencer output and results across all work.
- Directing and overseeing all influencer strategies, cross platform.
- Creating strategically led relationships with existing clients and new business prospects.
- Building a creator and influencer network for Spin and maintaining meaningful relationships with them and relevant agents.
- Networking at industry events to drive new creator/influencer leads.
- Thought leadership - articles, podcasts, PR - in collaboration with our marketing team.
- Scoping and costing for influencer projects and leading on pricing strategy for these.
- Budget allocation and management across influencer/creator campaigns.
- Setting KPIs and measuring campaign success plus suggesting strategically sound next steps.
- Drive commercial growth of this service line through opportunity identification and collaboration with the Client Leadership team to integrate influencer activity where suitable.
- Client communication - meetings, presentations, emails, calls.
- Contributing to and leading on pitches including creator and influencer.
- Liaising with other teams within the business including Client Leadership, Data and Insights, Strategy and Creative to collaborate on the end-to-end influencer output.
- Overseeing influencer campaigns including; sourcing and selection, outreach, briefing, negotiating and quality control.
- Developing creator/influencer knowledge within the business; leading on training, process and innovation within this area.
Here’s what we need from you:
- At least eight years of experience in influencer marketing, within an agency.
- A strategic and visionary mind with a clear viewpoint on the influencer industry and how to gain maximum results for clients.
- Ambition and entrepreneurial drive to supercharge Spin’s influencer offering through amazing work and great innovation.
- Good data literacy with a strong ability to handle budgets, set KPIs and measure success.
- Experience working with a wide range of influencer types from celebrity to nano creators.
- A strong knowledge of influencer management and reporting software.
- Excellent written and verbal/presenting communication skills to articulate recommendations to clients, influencers/creators, and the wider agency.
- A creative approach to collaborating with influencers and getting them involved in campaigns.
- A strong understanding of owned and paid social media.
- A little black book full of influencers and talent agents.
