The Sales Support Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales support team, ensuring that the sales department has the tools, resources, and support needed to meet business goals. The Sales Support Manager will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, improving sales processes, and enhancing the overall sales experience for both customers and the sales team.
Sales Team Support: Manage and lead a team of sales support professionals to provide administrative and operational support to the sales team. Provide support to General Manager on generic Sales administrative tasks.
Process Optimisation: Develop and implement streamlined processes for lead management, order processing, and customer onboarding to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Reporting Analytics: Generate regular sales performance reports and analyse key metrics to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment of goals across the organisation.
Sales Tools: Oversee the maintenance and optimisation of sales tools, and technology to ensure that the sales team has the resources they need to succeed.
Training Development: Provide ongoing training and mentorship to the sales support team to ensure high performance, professional growth, and knowledge of industry best practices.
Customer and Sales Team Liaison: Act as a point of contact for resolving customer inquiries or issues related to sales processes, product availability, and order fulfillment.
Sales Process Documentation: Ensure that sales processes, procedures, and best practices are clearly documented and followed across the team.
The Sales Support Manager reports to the General Manager.
What are your skills and experience?
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role, in the CPG or Toy industry preferred
- Retail Experience either at store level or retail planning experience an asset
- Experience in managing or mentoring a team
- Customer driven approach and a “go-getter” attitude
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, Salesforce an asset
- Demonstrated organisation, planning and communication skills to a high standard
- Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, read POS reports
- Full clean driving license
Please note that Spin Master works in a hybrid model with 4 days per week onsite.
