Responsibilities
- Direct brand responsibility for Gabbys Dollhouse and Games categories.
- Exceed annual corporate goals: revenue, margin, market share, and consumer demand.
- Lead the development of a UK brand plan presented to trade/retail partners, trade shows, and toy fairs.
- Build long‐term brand equity through forecasting, SKU management, retail activity, and TV placement.
- Use tools such as POS, Circana, brand health checks, and mix management to drive high retail and distribution turns.
- Collaborate with Spin Master international offices and Global Business Units to develop UK brand plans.
- Maintain engagement with GBU teams via regular calls; remain visible and vocal.
- Share ideas, learnings, and best practice with European marketing teams.
- Develop and manage above‐the‐line marketing campaigns within budget, including TV/Media planning, digital, TV/digital commercial production, PR, influencers, and e‐commerce.
- Work with agencies such as Generation Media, Active Pictures, UK PR Agency, and Jo Thompson to create UK marketing plans and local visual merchandising.
- Manage mix and pricing to meet annual financial objectives, including margin goals and MC% targets.
- Forecast and participate in Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP), reviewing and implementing minimum monthly changes with demand planners and sales.
- Produce tools for the sales team: range plans, external TV plans, brand promotional guidelines.
- Attend UK and international toy fairs to represent brands and ensure robust retailer support.
Qualifications
- Degree in marketing, business, or related field (preferred), or Diploma in Marketing (DipM) or other recognized qualifications.
- 2–3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in toy or kid‐related industries.
- Strong marketing skills with a proven track record of developing and executing commercially successful campaigns.
- Result‐driven, creative thinker with a proactive "whatever it takes" mentality.
- Effective team player able to collaborate across sales, marketing, finance, demand planning, supply and external stakeholders such as retailers and licensors.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting to internal teams and retailers.
