Our Mission Money sitting idle is money lost. We're fixing that. Founded in 2023 by Antoine and Paul-Adrien, Spiko gives SMEs, non-profits, financial advisers and fintechs access to institutional-grade cash management, via app or API. We are building the full infrastructure: issuing, operating, and distributing the products ourselves. Two years after launch, we serve thousands of organizations across Europe and process hundreds of millions of euros in flows every month. Our ambition: become the world's leading treasury management infrastructure in a market worth trillions. We are backed by Index Ventures, the CEO of Revolut, the founder of Kyriba, and the CTO of Wise. Spiko runs on excellence, transparency, and straight talk.
The role: Account Executive - Spiko Embedded We are seeking a hands-on, execution-driven sales professional to own our go-to-market strategy, accelerate embedded finance revenue, and build strategic partnerships with fintech players across Europe, including payment institutions, credit institutions, wealth management platforms, retail brokers, and treasury management platforms. As a Senior Account Executive specialized in Embedded Finance, you will own the full sales lifecycle end-to-end, from prospecting and deal structuring to managing distributor partnerships and driving long-term account growth. You will be accountable for revenue performance, partner success, and the expansion of our embedded distribution model. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a critical role in scaling our embedded business, deepening partner relationships, and driving sustained AUM growth across European markets.
Key responsibilities
- Own the go-to-market strategy and drive end-to-end execution of the full sales cycle, from prospecting to account management for our embedded product (Spiko API)
- Dive deep into product and regulatory nuances to run technically complex sales processes autonomously, without relying on product or engineering support at every step
- Collaborate closely with the product team to translate market and partner feedback into roadmap priorities
- Work closely with the compliance team to navigate the regulatory landscape and deliver solutions that effectively meet customers' needs while fully integrating regulatory requirements
- Represent Spiko at top-tier fintech conferences and events across Europe
- For more senior profiles: as the business scales, you'll help build and mentor the wider sales function.
Who we're looking for
Requirements (must-haves):
- Full-cycle B2B sales experience: Proven track record in driving the complete B2B sales cycle.
- Embedded finance or API product expertise: Hands-on experience selling technical or API-based product; embedded finance or BaaS exposure is a strong plus.
- Technical curiosity: You naturally go deep on product details, regulatory nuance, and integration complexity. You don't need an engineering background, but you need the drive and ability to understand what you're selling well enough to lead the conversation from discovery to close.
- European fintech network: Strong knowledge of the European fintech landscape across payments, investment, wealth management, and credit, with an active, high-level network enabling access to key decision-makers across the continent.
- Communication & negotiation: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Full proficiency in English is required.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Highly ambitious and execution-driven, you thrive in a fast-paced, lean startup environment. You are energised by building from scratch and taking ownership without waiting for a playbook.
